Hip-swinging star at Deepavali party
A DEEPAVALI party organised by The Star’s advertising department recently was made all the more interesting with a hula hoop dance by 12-year-old Ashwita Ramesh Nair.
Ashwita, listed in the Malaysia Book of Records for doing the hula hoop for the longest time, thrilled over 100 guests with her fine performance.
The pupil of SK Convent, Kajang, started doing the hula hoop at the age of seven. A year later she was performing at corporate and fund-raising shows.
